Chaos: the anti-thesis of order--Imagine this, your alarm conks out. You get up at 10 am and your office has already started at 9. You somehow cram in a shower, cornflakes and rush to office 2 hours late. Your boss ticks you off and you get an extra workload. You stay in office for an extra 2 hours and still its not even half done. You walk home to a cold lunch of frozen pizza. There’s still that workload to complete. Your head’s throbbing; think you will catch a nap before starting to work, when your neighbor cranks up his stereo.
Everything seems to be falling apart? Don’t worry, this is called the chaos theory and fortunately there is a way out of this hell.
It all begins and ends with your mind. You can find your way out of any chaotic situation. All it takes is some focusing of your mental powers, connecting yourself on the subconscious level. If you can achieve this, this can help you out of, not just chaotic situations but out of even physical ailment, emotional troubles. Ancient Chinese and Indians had carried out extensive research in this subject. They had complete control over mind, body and soul. They could hence carry out unimaginable feats. Why? Because of mind control. There is a simple technique how even you can take control over your thinking and emotions. It is called as self-hypnosis. Hypnosis is a method in which certain thinking sectors of the mind are sidetracked and a particular type of thinking or perception is formulated.
Thus the solution to all your problems is through self-hypnosis also known as chaos theory. Self hypnosis is not a medical or an unnatural state of mind. It is a naturally state of the mind in which our attention is at its peak something like a trance. In this state there is a willingness to follow suggestions or instructions.
Self hypnosis can be achieved in a few steps. These are listed below.
1>Select a comfortable location. One where you can get some peace and silence. You may sit on a comfortable chair or may even lie down. People usually refrain from lying down as they may sleep.
2>This step is very important and also very difficult to achieve. Clear your mind of all thoughts, and emotions. This seems very difficult as we cannot blank out our thoughts. But try not to think on any thought in particular.
3>Since this is all about your mind, imagination plays a very crucial part. Now imagine your whole body to be slowly relieved of all its tensions. Start from your toes. Imagine that all the tension is slowly drained away from them. Then proceed towards the legs. Imagine them to be de-stressed. Slowly feel all the tension drained from your body.
4>Next focus on your breath. Imagine that you are exhaling all your tension, worries, fears. And each time you inhale imagine a glowing, bright, positive energy coming into you.
5>Now assure yourself, that you are feeling great. Top of the world. You are feeling light. You are happy from inside and imagine that there is a bright glow on your face.
6>Imagine and visualize situations. Where you want to be, what your goals are.
7>Now repeat step number 4 and focus on your breath. Concentrate on it. Imagine the positive forces coming in.
8>After you feel great from inside, slowly open your eyes and get up.
Repeat this regularly. You will experience an inner calm, an inner peace. It will help you channelize your thoughts and energies. It will make you a better human being. It will help you focus. Thus you can convert the chaotic situation into something to your advantage. Finally, as they say, ‘It’s all in the mind’ !
